There are literally no more excuses for not hitting the gym, and you can thank Beyonce for that.
On March 31, Beyonce announced her new activewear line, called Ivy Park, in collaboration with Topshop. The ‘Formation’ singer has been working with the brand on a fitness line for more than a year, and it has been revealed that the Spring/Summer 2016 collection will become available on April 14, online and in store at Topshop, Nordstrom, Net-a-Porter, Zalora, and more.
Ivy Park pays homage to the superstar’s daughter, Blue Ivy, and her childhood sanctuary, Parkwood Park in Houston, Texas. In the promo video for the highly-anticipated activewear line, Beyonce explains how much she loved running in the park, and uses it as a metaphor for her current life.
The ‘Crazy in Love’ singer says: “Before I hit the stage, I go back to that park. When it was time for me to give birth, I went back to that park. The park became a state of mine. The park became my strength,” before asking the viewers, “Where’s your park?”. The 200-piece collection will feature sports bras, leggings, print jackets, bodysuits, varsity socks, and much more, and prices will range from $30 to $200.
