Aside from the signature drink, the hot women, the action and the cool gadgets, one other thing that stands out in James Bond movies is the Aston Martin car. Over the years, this oh-so-classic ride has become better and more high-tech. Without it, the flicks would not be as cool.
This just goes to show how cool rides make for the perfect backdrop for the movies. The iconic cars can even become more memorable than the movie itself. When the vehicle becomes as much as part of the cast as the actors, that’s when you know that you have a truly memorable – and cool – car. Check out the best cars to ever hit the big screen:
1. 1981 DeLorean DMC-12
October 2015 marked the 30th anniversary of the Back to the Future trilogy which starred Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. In the first film, Marty McFly went time travelling with Doc Brown. Doc turned the 1981 De Lorean DMC-12 car into a time machine which allowed McFly to jump into the year 2015 where there are flying cars and self-tying sneakers. With its high-tech doors and easily recognizable body, the DeLorean is one of the most iconic cars which made a mark on the big screen with the Back to the Future films.
