Some heroes wear fur coats.
On Saturday evening, hundreds of LGBT activists gathered outside of Ivanka Trump’s Washington, D.C. home for a “dance party” protest, but it was one ‘petty’ neighbor who stole the show. According to the event’s Facebook page, the goal was to “send the clear message that our climate and our communities matter”.
And as the music turned up and the rainbow-clad revelers twirled, the First Daughter’s less-than-impressed neighbors came outside to take in the sights. One of them, however, wasn’t bothered by the glittery army of protesters marching outside her home. Dressed in a long, brown fur coat, Dianne Bruce – who lives across the street from Trump – gleefully watched the event unfold while enjoying a glass of white wine.
Photographer Mary F. Calvert took a photo of Bruce, shared it on her Instagram page and as expected, the internet was there for it. People couldn’t get enough of the ‘petty’ neighbor:
The neighbor watching the LGBT protest in front of Ivanka Trump’s house while drinking white wine is definitely invited to gay brunch. pic.twitter.com/Lum7pwuOsz

Ivanka Trump’s neighbor just unlocked a new level of petty we didn’t even know existed pic.twitter.com/kqoL0JgQhk

I aim for the level of petty of being Ivanka Trump’s neighbor watching her house being protested in fur with a glass of wine. pic.twitter.com/KIV2Hq7jv3
